Piramal Enterprises surges on getting nod to raise Rs 635 crore on private placement basis

Piramal Enterprises is currently trading at Rs. 2434.00, up by 28.10 points or 1.17% from its previous closing of Rs. 2405.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2448.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2448.50 and Rs. 2403.00 respectively. So far 13452 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2519.25 on 28-Jun-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1178.85 on 24-Sep-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2519.25 and Rs. 2347.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 55140.44 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.06%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 39.61% and 14.33% respectively.

Piramal Enterprises has received an approval for the issuance of Secured, Rated, Listed, Redeemable Principal Protected, Market Linked Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) up to Rs 50 crore along with an option to retain over subscription of up to Rs 585 crore, aggregating up to Rs 635 crore on private placement basis. Debentures are proposed to be listed on the Debt Segment of National Stock Exchange of India. The Meeting of Administrative Committee of the Board of Directors of the company held on July 5, 2021 has approved the same.
