JSW Steel trades in green on reporting 2% rise in crude steel production in January

JSW Steel is currently trading at Rs. 418.55, up by 1.20 points or 0.29% from its previous closing of Rs. 417.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 417.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 419.95 and Rs. 411.40 respectively. So far 114416 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 418.95 on 08-Feb-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 132.50 on 03-Apr-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 418.95 and Rs. 376.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 99915.81 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 44.07%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.60% and 35.81% respectively.

JSW Steel has reported crude steel production of 14.32 lakh tonnes for January 2021, registering rise of 2% over 14.10 lakh tonnes in January 2020. Out of the total output, the production of rolled products (flat) stood at 10.14 lakh tonnes and the production of rolled products (long) stood at 3.59 lakh tonnes for the month of January 2021.
